The later is sports with a script and storyline backing it and the final product is delivered live to the audience. Other media targeting activities would include a fashion show or an exhibition in an art gallery amongst others. The entire motive is to provide the common masses with news that seems to be an illusion compared to the daily chores they face.

Entertainment is considered to be one of the biggest money grossing factors in the market today. An Entertainment Company primarily deals with activities that relate to recreation that is catered to the common public. It could be movies, animated films, commercial advertisements featuring top celebrities and sports entertainment shows like wrestling and boxing. The later is sports with a script and storyline backing it and the final product is delivered live to the audience. Other media targeting activities would include a fashion show or an exhibition in an art gallery amongst others. The entire motive is to provide the common masses with news that seems to be an illusion compared to the daily chores they face.

In the initial stages an entertainment program was basically sponsored by corporate houses who at the most had stakes involved with the venture that was produced and then provided through television or media to the general audiences. Today you have a complete industry dedicated to this field. The Entertainment Industry on a whole consists of a large number of sub-industries, basically categorized into four major parts.

1) Traditional Live Entertainment Industry.

2) The Mass Media Entertainment Industry.

3) Electronic Industry.

4) Related off-shore Entertainment. The categorized sub-industry has their own audiences that help them to flourish.

The traditional live industry is provides entertainment live to the audience, instead of a taped format as followed by the other groups. It could be theatre, a musical show, a sports show, a fashion show or any show that involves performing arts. Entertainment in this category is also related to exhibitions. A fare or an exhibition at a museum or an art gallery, all fall under this category. The next one is the Mass-Media. Here the mode of Entertainment is provided through media communications via films, television, radio, etc, etc. The film industry is considered to be the biggest entertainment industry in India with the yearly budget that includes turn-overs and profits soaring a billion Rupees and is easily the most dominating sector in Mass-Media. A Night Club comes close to this particular segment as music and records from the films get there major promotion done here.

Next in line are the Electronics media and off-shore related ventures. The Electronic Media provides entertainment in the form of various computer games and technology stuff like the internet and mobile phones. Where as the “see also” entertainment industry consists of related entertainment stuff from overseas. The Film industry in India is dubbed as “Bollywood”, where as the film industry that is based in the United States is termed as “Hollywood”. So entertainment from the Off- shore part is provided to us in India through the help of distributors. You also have Gambling and the pornographic Industry as mode of entertainers that is mainly kept aside for adults. On a work front a Branded Entertainment Company in India handles all these components with ease.

Now to the main point!!! Who manages the complete transactions? If the Entertainment Company in question is really big, branded and has a reputation to keep, it is essential that it has an account management firm to keep in check of their accounts. An entertainment company churns out huge money all the time, it hosts, sponsors and even arranges events, and hence a lot of money at any instant is at stake. Therefore there has to be a track on the budget to know what the actual and the estimated expenditure of the event is. All in all a Branded Entertainment Company in India is indeed a jackpot and anyone associated with it is bound to make a lot of money.

Recently, I just got back from a trip to Charlotte to visit with my grandmother who is now 78 years old. For 78 years of age, she is still extremely independent and sharp as a tack. She has her own car, drives herself around, runs her errands and meets up with friends for lunch, etc. However, what I have noticed is that my grandmother does not do well with driving at night.

As you get older, it appears that we tend to trust ourselves less and less where better judgment is concerned. Nowhere is this more true than when we are behind the wheel of a car at night. My grandmother has admitted to me time and again that she does not feel comfortable driving her car at night. Even though her vision is perfect, she hesitates to drive herself anywhere when it is dark out and always makes sure that her plans revolve around daytime hours, leaving her plenty of time to turn in for the night before it gets dark out.

On one occasion, I was able to see what she was talking about when it came to driving during the nighttime hours. My uncle, who lives approximately three minutes from my grandmother had invited my boyfriend, my grandmother and I over for dinner at his house. I wasn’t sure of how to get to his house from where my grandmother lived at the time, and besides this, my grandmother had volunteered to drive us there. I didn’t argue, and I also didn’t think anything of it. So, off in the car we went. As soon as we pulled out from my grandmother’s parking space at her apartment complex, I was almost instantly nervous. She kept hesitating and braking, wanting to make sure that there was nothing behind her car. My boyfriend and I reassured her that there was nothing blocking her car, and eventually she put the car in drive, and we headed out of the apartment complex.

The entire time that we were driving to my uncle’s house, my grandmother kept braking for no reason, almost sending me through the windshield a couple of times. She didn’t really give an explanation for the constant braking, and I didn’t really ask because I could look over and see that she was trying very hard to focus. I kept glancing behind us at other drivers to make sure that they weren’t following us too closely because I was afraid that with all of the stop and start braking that someone would rear end us and get into an accident.

The three minutes that it should have taken us to get to my uncle’s house were the longest three minutes of my life in a vehicle. Towards the end of our dinner at my uncle’s house, I started to worry about the drive back to my grandmother’s apartment. Should I volunteer to drive us back to her apartment? I was worried that if I brought it up, I might offend my grandmother. At the same time, however, I didn’t want to offend my grandmother by suggesting such an idea. Later on, my grandmother admitted that driving at night made her nervous. I guess it is just something that happens as we age. The next time, though, I will be doing the driving!

Commuting to work is usually not a problem for some people. However, for other people, commuting to work can be a real pain and can ultimately ruin what would have been otherwise a bright, chipper start to their day.

I work from home, but when I used to commute to work, it was almost always a nightmare. The only times when I wouldn’t hit traffic was when I would leave super early in the morning to get to the office by 7 a.m. However, now that I don’t have to go to work, I have still seen the wrath of the morning commute when I go for runs or when I run out to complete errands. Miles and miles of traffic backed up on the highway is not an unusual sight to see when you are on the road. Things only feel worse when you know that you have to be somewhere at a certain time and you can’t get there because of traffic.

Recently, I had a doctor’s appointment. Because I had just moved into a new apartment, I was unsure of what time to leave in order to avoid traffic. I totally miscalculated the time that I should have left. Because there was construction going on right outside of my apartment complex, and because the road right outside of my apartment complex was sort of a major through way for morning commuters (which at the time, I did not know but I know now), it was backed up. In fact, it was so incredibly backed up, that I couldn’t even get out of my apartment complex! I wound up exiting my apartment complex via the second entrance in the back.

Things were going well for about a minute until I hit the other part of the morning rush hour traffic. Geez! I couldn’t even catch a break. I finally managed to make my way through most of the morning rush hour traffic and was approximately five minutes away from the doctor’s office when they called to tell me that I was running too late. The next appointment had already arrived, and they were going to have to cancel my appointment. Frustrated and angry, I conceded. I had spent almost an hour sitting in rush hour traffic for an appointment that normally would have taken me ten to fifteen minutes to get to. Needless to say, I was going to make sure that all of my future appointments for anything were going to be scheduled during non-rush hour times.

Commuting is not just a problem during designated rush hour times, though. In fact, because of the huge population boom in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, I have found that traffic starting to become just as bad at any time of the day (save for between midnight and 3 a.m.). The most that we can do as drivers during this time is just be patient, take deep breaths, and most of all: make sure that we leave ourselves plenty of time to get to wherever it is we’re going!

We live in a high speed technologically advanced age which has seen the development and invention of many products which would have seemed extremely far fetched only ten years ago. Most things these days in our homes and work places are ran by technology, now it is common place to see high spec devices and media entertainment systems incorporated into the average car, items such as in car DVD players are no longer considered as extremely luxurious items and has opened up the in car entertainment market to the masses. In this article we are going to talk about the different type of products available at the moment and some handy tips on their uses.

In Car Audio Devices

We have come a long way since the humble FM radio and cassette player which used to be incorporated into cars, now we have moved on to CD players and beyond, you really can get some extremely high quality audio devices and speakers, new technology has enabled in car CD players to take advantage of MP3 technology and USB devices such as a data stick where you can play music from your PC via the USB stick. Many in car audio systems now come with MP3 player connectivity so you can attach and play your music from an Ipod or other MP3 player through the car speakers; this is great for playing your own play lists and listening to your favourite music on the move. The addition of DAB radio has also enhanced the listening pleasures of radio lovers as you can get crystal clear radio reception on your favourite radio stations in your car.

Visual In Car Entertainment

A sure fire way of making those long tedious journeys a pleasure is to install an in car DVD player, these can be placed on the back of headrests or on the dashboard; it enables passengers to watch television programmes or their favorite movies in the car. This is a great way of keeping the kids quiet, many in car DVD players nowadays also come with built in games and a games controller, it is very unlikely the kids will hassle you on long journeys or in traffic jams if they have all this entertainment right in front of them. If you are very clever however you can even incorporate your games console such as a Play station into the car for maximum gaming pleasure wherever you go.

There are also many other products in the market designed specifically to enhance your driving pleasure such as satellite navigation systems, they minimize the chances of getting lost and open up a whole new variety of journeys and road trips a driver can attempt with more confidence. It is important to remember that all of these devices use the battery from the car, watch out in case it depletes your car’s battery life too much. The driver must also be aware that they are driving and too much in car devices can take away their attention and cause an accident, make sure your eyes are constantly fixed on the road and do not get drawn elsewhere, especially by staring at the sat nav system too much.

In the magazine industry today, there is hardly a magazine about entertainment that gets a story out without pulling strings or cutting corners. Instead of presenting real facts, entertainment magazines typically exaggerate and present their story in a manner intended to arouse strong interest. Entertainment Weekly doesn’t follow these rules. Providing reliable and real stories and focusing on prominent entertainment-related news, Entertainment Weekly is one of the best magazines on the market.

Being around since 1990, Entertainment Weekly (EW) gained instant success by providing mainstream news without being exactly an insider magazine. Relying on factual stories and featuring them with interesting interviews about hot shot celebrities, EW has managed to avoid being a gossip magazine. Instead of reading about the dirty laundry, Entertainment Weekly focuses on the backgrounds of the celebrities and their road to success without rumoring and gossiping.

Being consistent to its name, Entertainment Weekly comes out weekly with a brand new issue every Friday. Specializing in movie and TV entertainment but covering also anything related to pop culture, EW provides news that typically made the next cover stories in the news. The magazine keeps its readers informed about cable TV, the internet, movies and TV shows reviews and it features insightful articles that are purely informative.

The most interesting parts of Entertainment Weekly are the “Mail” where people comment about anything important on the entertainment industry, the “Must List” that includes ten great things that the magazine suggests people should see, read or hear, the “Movie reviews” where readers get into the major stories about forthcoming movies reading the reviews of famous movie critics and “The Closing Article” that varies each week covering anything that can be interesting. Entertainment Weekly features also breaking through actors, new televisions shows and reviews about dvds, TV, books and music.

Interesting cover photos, backstage stories, in-depth interviews and excellent, colourful photographs compose a really enjoyable magazine at a very attractive price. Coming at the price of $50 per year, Entertainment Weekly features also several bonus issues throughout the year covering major events in the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, there are people who are not so enthusiastic about Entertainment Weekly finding its content obnoxious and dull in the effort to be humorous.

Personally, I like Entertainment Weekly because it has its own personality and it gives me the facts, not the opinions of its columnists like many other magazines in the entertainment industry do. In that way, it helps me developing my own opinion, while providing me with details on the background of the celebrities in an insightful rather than in a gossipy manner.

I also like its movie reviews and grading from movie critics, along with an average grade ranging from A+ to F so that readers can fairly compare their tastes. While other magazines stress their own critics and present rather biased viewpoints, Entertainment Weekly is objective and offers a well-rounded criticism by comparing the reviews side by side.

To my view, Entertainment Weekly is a must for the people, who love entertainment.
